Can I see an online doctor and my own GP?
Yes. Requesting an appointment with our online doctors will not affect your relationship with your regular GP. You can choose whether or not we share details of your consultation with your GP. You can continue to see your own GP as normal.
How long will it take for the doctor to review and issue a prescription?
An Irish registered doctor will review and issue a prescription usually within two hours to the pharmacy of your choice. If it is not appropriate to issue a prescription based on the consultation, then a refund will be made to your payment card automatically.
Do you accept Medical Cards for online doctor consultations?
Our online doctor partners do not accept Medical Cards for their repeat prescription service, or their consultation service. However, if you receive a prescription from the online doctors, Manly will apply your medical card to the prescription, which will be charged accordingly.
What should do in the event of an emergency?
For all medical emergencies, you should contact the emergency services on 112 or 999.

One of our pharmacists will contact you by telephone to discuss the prescription and answer any of your questions about how to use the medication prescribed. We will advise on the cost of the medication and the time for the prescription to be dispensed.
How do I pay for my medication?
One of our pharmacists will call you for a brief consultation on your prescription. We can then take payment over the phone.
Can I get a repeat prescription?

What if my condition is not listed?
If your condition is not listed, Webdoctor.ie provides the option of a GP Phone/Video Consultation.
This service is not suitable for emergencies, and it may take an hour or two to receive a response. The cost of this service starts at €35 and is non-refundable. Our online doctor partners, webdoctor.ie, will collect some information about your health, medical history, and lifestyle through their online form.
As soon as the doctor has reviewed your information, they will contact you by phone/video call on a number that suits you.
